Family: Son of William and Josephine Victoria Cecila Andrews, of Taunton, husband of Hilda Alecia Andrews. Married with four daughters.

Early Life: Educated at St. George's, Taunton, qualified as an architect. Granted an emergency commission on 14th January 1940 and joined bomb disposal company.
