Date and Place of Birth: 23rd May 1984, Brussels, Belgium

Family: Chris is the son of Jeff and Sharon Finney and he has two sisters Lisa and Lauren.

Early Life: From Marple, near Stockport, Chris Finney attended Gatley Primary School before his family moved to the South Coast where he became a Red Cross Cadet. Later, whilst a pupil at Ferndown Upper School, he received formative training with the Dorset Army Cadet Force (C Coy, Wimborne Det) from March 1998 to September 2000, achieving the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award and 4 Star Cadet.
