Family: Son of Benjamin and Maria Regina Newgass of The Round House, Wiston, Steyning, Sussex (formerly of Hampstead) who died on 13th March 1942. His brother was Edgar Isaac Newgass. Husband of Mrs Nan Newgass

Early Life: Harold Newgass served in the Territorial Army with the Royal Artillery, 1918 to 1934.
